Once upon a time...
Love and Action appeared as Lufu and Dufu. The Lufudufu World grew from lived experience, reflection, and a dream, rooted in the original artwork and philosophy of its creator, Tatiana Duvouale, working under the artistic pseudonym Lufudufu. She envisioned a world for her children, and for grown-ups and children everywhere. A world she would choose to live in herself. A world where love and action nourish goodness, spark curiosity, protect and encourage, and create a deep sense of belonging. A world of warmth and humour. A place people would want to live in and love life. Her mission is both personal and universal: to remind herself, and those who listen, of the good that exists within and in the world. We are born into a complex life and learn to navigate it step by step. Lufudufu World joins beacons of light through time and helps nourish the light within people.
The Origin of "Lufudufu" artistic pseudonym
Lufudufu was born from love. A timeless classic.
First came LOOFUDOOFU — a playful, silly twist on a tender word of affection Loveydovey, and the sound people make when imitating hedgehogs.
Out of that joy grew LUFUDUFU — a name with rhythm, warmth, and wonder.
It carries the sound of affection and the spirit of play, now home to two mischievous hedgehogs and their world.
LUFUDUFU ... became the sound hedgehogs make running full of joy through blooming meadows,
as soft grass tickles their fluffy bellies.
Puffing and huffing to themselves they go:
"Love and Do, Love and Do, Lufu-Dufu-du..."
Every rhyme, every sketch, every story still carries that first spark:
love, laughter, and the little rustling steps of hedgehogs turned into a world.

In 2013, LUFUDUFU began to take shape from many sparks and ideas carried through the years. Created under the artistic pseudonym Lufudufu, drawings, a handmade hedgehog costume, paper cuttings, quilled spikes and dreams shaped what became Lufudufu World.
At its heart, LUFUDUFU® brand holds dreams and stories lived with family and friends. Real moments are gathered and retold as gentle tales for children and grown-ups.
